Thanks for visiting my blog, I hope you're enjoying it. You've clicked on 'About me' to find out a bit more about the person behind this blog, so here we go.

My name is Ilona,  a twenty-two year old girl from the Netherlands. Right now I'm living with my parents in a very small town. After trying but failing in the major Journalism I decided to take a gap year. In this year I've worked and traveled and moved back in with my parents. And in September I'll go back to college and follow the major International Communication and Media.

I'm very much in love with beauty, interior, traveling, food, music, series and fashion. And I've got a great sense of wanderlust. It probably wont come as a surprise that these are the subjects I'm going to write about.

And about the title of my blog? 'My fairy lights'? They're so lovely and cozy and they give a room such a soft glow. I'm just really in love with fairy lights.
